The Swan Hill Woodworkers Club were the recipients of a donation of $1800 to enable them to upgrade their equipment.

The Swan Hill Lodge – with the assistance of the Freemasons Foundation, were pleased to assist the Woodworkers in their desire to keep their equipment at the highest standard, which will enable them to continue their contribution to the community of Swan Hill.

The Woodworkers are a group of retired men with a common interest in different aspects of wood working, furniture restoration, and making different articles for the public.

The Club has over the years made outdoor equipment for a pre-school, made learning equipment for St Mary’s School, conducted kids school holiday activities for the Swan Hill Regional Library and at the Swan Hill Farmers Market.

The Club meets weekly, which allows members to interact socially and enjoy their chosen activity.

The Freemasons Foundation makes grants to ‘Not for Profit’ organisations within the community. For further information about the Foundations activity contact James Thompson on 0419 893 506.
