Wakanyana’s will meet for the 101 time on Thursday 28 December 2017 at The Bellarine Masonic Centre, Learmonth St, Queenscliff, at 12 noon for 12.30pm.
Since its inception in 1916, Wakanyana’s has raised in excess of $175,000 for the Cottage By The Sea. This year whilst still supporting the Cottage By The Sea, all funds raised will be used to fund under-privileged children to have a holiday at the seaside.
All Freemasons together with their wives and partners are invited to this Annual Event for a two course lunch, an entertaining guest speaker, plus raffles and seafood auctions. Dress is casual, cost is $20 per person.
One of the keenest supporters over the years was the late MW Bro. John Evans, PGM, who always wore an old tie to have it cut off during the lunch. As a mark of respect for John, all Brethren attending this year are asked to wear an old tie, which of course will be ceremonially cut off during the festivities.
