The Duke Helps its Neighbours
The Duke of Abercorn Lodge No. 137 recently combined their Freemasons Foundation grant with the proceeds of their 1k Cable Tow triathlon and some dollars from the Lodge’s benevolent fund to make a difference in Moorabool Shire. A donation of $5,500 was made to The Neighbour's Place, a not for profit organisation that provides emergency food relief to those who are disadvantaged, at risk or temporarily unable to feed themselves or their family within the Shire.
During the donation presentation, Jackie Tabone, The Neighbour’s Place Co-ordinator explained to Duke of Abercorn brethren and friends about the work they do and expressed their gratitude to the Foundation and the Lodge for the funds.
