KYABRAM Masonic Lodge recently gifted the Kyabram and District Bus Service a fuel card valued at $1000. The money was raised by Kyabram and District Freemasons through firewood and lodge meeting raffles and donations by members.

“Our whole aim is to donate to charity and get behind local groups,” David Blake of the lodge said.

“Wherever we can help people out we want to do so and we saw this as a really good option as so many locals use the bus service.

“Some people can’t get themselves around so the bus system is an important part of the community.”
Mr Blake said the group wanted people to know about Freemasons and the good things they did around the community.
“We have another idea in the pipeline to maybe help out some local kindergartens,’’ he said.
