Making the world a better place,
Our three great principles
Every true Freemason will show tolerance and respect for the opinions of others and behave with kindness and understanding to his fellow creatures.
Freemasons are taught to practise charity, and to care, not only for their members, but for the community as a whole, through charitable giving and voluntary effort.
Freemasonry strives for truth and requires high moral standards of its members.

What do our members think?
“It is about good men becoming greater men and it doesn’t discriminate, that is what I love about it. It is about putting your values into practice, and becoming the best version of yourself. I know there will always be someone there to lean on.”
Brighton District Lodge No. 37
Brunswick United Lodge No. 924
“We help other people regardless of their background or where they come from. It’s not about doing good things for the community to be recognised for it, it is about doing good things because you want to.”
Lodge Observance No. 654
“We are simply good men seeking to make life better for ourselves, for our families, and for the broader community. Freemasonry is like a family, a special family. You adopt them, and they adopt you and you never want to let go of them.”
North Melbourne Lodge No. 41
